So I went to my 3 favorite grocery stores today - Von's, Ralph's, and Albertson's. I saved quite a bit. Sorry I do not have a picture but it was pure chaos when I walked through the door! Here is the breakdown of what I spent and saved...
Albertson's - Retail $37.25 Paid $6.79 Saved $30.46...82% savings!!!!!
I bought 5 boxes of cereal, free gallon of whole milk :), 1 whole cantalope, BOGO strawberries and blueberries (1 of each), and $8.00 in coupons from my last shopping trip!
Ralph's - Retail $47.65 Paid $18.70 Saved $28.95...61% savings!!!!!
I bought 3 boxes of cereal, 8 boxes of fruit snacks, 2 cans of tuna (LENT!!), and 2 avocados. :)
Von's #1 - Retail $54.81 Paid 30.70 Saved $24.11...41% savings (could be better but I will take it)
I bought 4 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, 2 packs of Dole fruit cups (hubby loves these for lunch - would have gotten more but only one coupon), 3 Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls, 3 4-pks of Dannon Light & Fit yogurts, 3 dozen Eggland's Best eggs, 10 lbs bag of potatoes, 1 package of english muffins, and 2 bags of Fresh Express salad mix.
Von's #2 - Retail $47.39 Paid $23.65 Saved $23.74...50% savings!!!!!!!
I bought 2 packages of Anthony's pasta, 3 Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, 3 Pillsbury Grands biscuits, 3 4-pks of Dannon Light & Fit yogurts, 3 dozen Eggland's Best eggs, and bananas.
I am so proud of myself because when I look at our budget I am underbudget by $198.00!!! That will definitely go towards our car payment! Since January I have saved my family $344.00! Yes!!!
