Grocery Shopping Trip - 2/23/12
Hi friends and family!
So I went to my 3 favorite grocery stores today - Von's, Ralph's, and Albertson's. I saved quite a bit. Sorry I do not have a picture but it was pure chaos when I walked through the door! Here is the breakdown of what I spent and saved...
Albertson's - Retail $37.25 Paid $6.79 Saved $30.46...82% savings!!!!!
I bought 5 boxes of cereal, free gallon of whole milk :), 1 whole cantalope, BOGO strawberries and blueberries (1 of each), and $8.00 in coupons from my last shopping trip!
Ralph's - Retail $47.65 Paid $18.70 Saved $28.95...61% savings!!!!!
I bought 3 boxes of cereal, 8 boxes of fruit snacks, 2 cans of tuna (LENT!!), and 2 avocados. :)
Von's #1 - Retail $54.81 Paid 30.70 Saved $24.11...41% savings (could be better but I will take it)
I bought 4 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, 2 packs of Dole fruit cups (hubby loves these for lunch - would have gotten more but only one coupon), 3 Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls, 3 4-pks of Dannon Light & Fit yogurts, 3 dozen Eggland's Best eggs, 10 lbs bag of potatoes, 1 package of english muffins, and 2 bags of Fresh Express salad mix.
Von's #2 - Retail $47.39 Paid $23.65 Saved $23.74...50% savings!!!!!!!
I bought 2 packages of Anthony's pasta, 3 Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, 3 Pillsbury Grands biscuits, 3 4-pks of Dannon Light & Fit yogurts, 3 dozen Eggland's Best eggs, and bananas.
I am so proud of myself because when I look at our budget I am underbudget by $198.00!!! That will definitely go towards our car payment! Since January I have saved my family $344.00! Yes!!!

House Party :)
My friend and fellow Mommy, Crystal Babowal, suggested the House Party website. It is such a cool website and opportunity for the hostess and guests to receive coupons and free products. Costs nothing! Signing up is free!
House Party makes it easy to have a party in your own home and get exclusive access to products for you and your friends. We provide the fun, you provide food and feedback and promise to have an awesome time. The party pack comes to your house and then you just provide some food and drinks and have FUN! They have everything from accessories to food to movies and television.
Crystal will be hosting a couple of parties and I will see if she will send me some pictures to post for my followers to view.
In the meantime, I have signed up but will not be hosting a party for a couple of months. There is a Weight Watchers desserts party in April and I am sooooo tempted since I used to be on WW before I got pregnant and loved it!

Von's Shopping Trip - Feb. 10, 2012
So I went to Von's for the rest of my shopping...I saved 54%! I was so excited because I had the cashier ring everything up and the total was $140.12 and then I entered my club card and it brought it down to around 90.00. After I gave my coupons, I paid.....
$64.44!!!!
I saved $64.68. I love when I save more than what I spent. I bought, eggs, meat, cheese, sausage, Nestle cookie dough, soup, beans, toaster strudels, lunchables, and cereal. I even bought a bottle of wine for dinner with friends that evening! Not too bad at all!
On top of that I received a coupon from Shutterfly for a free 8x8 photo book! I am so excited because I wanted to do another one with the kids so bad. All I have to pay is shipping! That is about $25.00 I saved!
I apologize for not having a picture of everything I bought...I was in a rish to pick the hubby up at work and go to our friends' house for dinner. Next time I promise!

Shopping Trip - Feb. 9, 2012
Hi Everyone!
My wonderful husband stayed home with the kids today so I could do my shopping. I went to four different places. I got all of this for $81.88! The total retail price was $156.05 and I saved $74.17...a 52% savings!!!! WOW! I wish it was more but I got everything from bread to Pull Ups to fresh fruit. Can't complain and neither is the hubby!!!
The breakdown of where I went and how much I spent at each place...
Albertson's (2 seperate orders since they do not take more than 4 of the same coupons in one transaction):
1st Transaction - paid $21.79 saved $32.65 61% savings (most ever so far...)
2nd Transaction - paid $23.11 saved $24.09 52% savings :)
In addition, I received $8.00 in coupons and a free milk (up to $4.50) to use towards my next purchase! $12.50 free!!! :)
Ralph's:
Paid $23.03 saved $16.18 59% savings :)
Walmart:
Spent $8.71 on 5 3pk Ivory soap bars and 2 cans of frosting (for Sammy's birthday cupcakes next month :))
Wonder/Hostess Outlet Store (AWESOME DEAL):
5 loaves of bread for $5.24!!!! WOOHOO!!!
I am very proud of my purchases...next time I am aiming for a 60% or more total savings!!! Wish me luck!!!

UT Smart Buys Coupon Party
Maureen Duncan from UT Smart Buys will be coming to my house on February 24, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm to share tips and tricks to couponing and saving money. All I have to say is...SWEET!
I attended a UT Smart Buys Couponing in Oceanside, CA in January and it was awesome! I learned a lot and I saved my family $150 last month in groceries, paper goods, and toiletries! I have only been doing this couponing method since the end of January and hope to save more this month.
