My name is
Megan Handy and I am a stay at home mom in sunny San Diego, CA. I have two
children, Samuel (3) and Madelyn (1). My husband, Sam, and I are expecting our
third child in June 2012. We are excited to expand our family.
A little bit about why I started this blog...
After experiencing job loss, my family and I really needed to save money and cut back on expenses. I have been researching and getting discounts when I can. I even look for free family activities to do during the week to keep myself and my kids from going insane! There is a lot out there just takes some time to look into it. I am also a very crafty person and I enjoy making people things. I have a small business, Munkey Munk Designs, that creates favors, center pieces, gift baskets, and more for all special occasions. The products are custom made for the customer and I love seeing the joy in their faces when they see what I have created.
I hope you enjoy all that I post on my blog. I will post many things such as recipes, tips, crafts, and deals I have found.
